Pathrise Mentor Rachelle Gupta

Rachelle was the first recruiter at GitHub and helped scale GitHub up from its early stages in 2013. Before GitHub, Rachelle ran university programs for Google recruiting and after GitHub, Rachelle went on a "tour of duty" recruiting technical talent for the U.S. Digital Service at The White House.

She uses her expertise and network in technical recruiting to help fellows find, network, and negotiate their ways into their dream positions.

Pathrise Mentor Olga Boldarieva

Olga was a data scientist at Ebay, where she analyzed large amounts of data and built machine learning models to improve core business functions. She has a PhD in Economics where she specialized in Causal Inference and Quasi-Experimental Design. Before joining Pathrise, Olga received multiple job offers from companies like Uber and IBM.

Now, Olga helps our fellows land the next step in their data science career using her more than 12 years of experience in the field.

Pathrise Mentor Sam Harper

Sam has led product vision, strategy, and development at SoftBank Robotics, where he launched an innovative visual programming tool that interfaces with a humanoid robot named Pepper. This has allowed him to build up expertise in both product management and education as he led two cross-functional teams to release Pepper to schools around the US.

He has had experience bringing to market multiple other robotics products as a Global Product Manager. He has worked on warehouse automation, created innovation stories for new humanoid robots, and even worked with Boston Dynamics directly on special projects.

Pathrise Mentor Brian Wong

Brian was a senior software engineer for Zazzle, one of the largest product customization marketplaces in the world. There he led several features on the mobile team. Before Zazzle, Brian was a software engineer at CBS and founded an award-winning startup called Spondevu. Brian has gotten his students placed everywhere from Google to Facebook using his insider knowledge.

Now, Brian works directly with Pathrise fellows on technical interview preparation and how to find the best possible job in the field of software engineering.
