Looking for jobs can be overwhelming, stressful, and even anxiety-inducing. However, if you channel your energy, you can save valuable time and energy. Knowing the best job boards for product managers can help you, which is why we wanted to share our favorites.

We have also rated each job board for scale (number of opportunities available) and quality (average conversion rate for each opportunity), so you can know what to expect.

Best job boards for product managers

General job sites

1. LinkedIn

If you have started your job search, chances are you have a LinkedIn profile. But just having a profile isn’t enough. You need to make sure that it is as strong as it can be and includes your past experiences, projects, and links to your portfolio, as well as websites and apps that you have worked on. Their job board is robust, but you might find some difficulty if you search “product manager” but you are just trying to break into product management. The positions that come up will likely require too much experience. Try searching “junior product manager,” “associate product manager,” or adding “entry level” to your searches so you can find positions that match your background.

2. Google Jobs

Google gathers all of the job postings on the Internet and now houses them in their Google Jobs section of the site. All you need to do is type “product manager jobs” into your Google search bar to access it. It’s surprisingly good! They automatically add your current location to the job search, so be aware if you are looking for roles elsewhere.

3. Indeed

Indeed is one of the largest job sites, so it is not as specialized as some of the other product-specific boards. They gather postings from all across the Internet. You can search by proximity to a city, salary estimate, job type (full-time, part-time, internship, contract, etc), salary range, company, and experience level.

Product job sites

1. Product Hired

A fairly new job board, Product Hired is working to create the largest professional job and career site for product management. Currently, they have over 11,000 openings in 70 countries. ProductHired currently reaches thousands of product managers, posts over 500 new jobs daily from 160+ cities, and provides resources to get PMs hired. You can check out their guides, coaching, and community Slack channel for more help with your search.

2. Product Manager HQ

Product Manager HQ is a good resource for learning how to break into product management. They cater to a global audience of people working in product. Their job board includes full-time, part-time, freelance, and temporary positions. In addition, Product Manager HQ offers self-paced online courses and a community of product managers.

3. Mind the Product

The world’s largest product community, Mind the Product started in London and has now grown to include over 150,000 members. They have Slack communities, articles, and general resources for product managers. In addition, members can pay for access to workshops and courses. Their job board can be filtered for job type, salary, category, and date posted. A lot of the jobs are international, but they also include domestic and remote positions.

4. Ken Norton

Ken is a Senior Operating Partner at GV where he leads investing operations and provides product and engineering support to GV’s portfolio companies. Launched as Google Ventures in 2009, GV is the venture capital arm of Alphabet, Inc. Prior to this, Ken was a group product manager at Google. He has a newsletter sent to more than 15,000 product leaders with PM advice, useful links, and exclusive startup jobs you won’t find anywhere else. He also has a job board, which pulls PM jobs mainly from VentureLoop.

5. ProductManagerCrossing

The team of 100+ researchers behind ProductManagerCrossing finds jobs from every source they can find and puts them on their private site for their members. When you use ProductManagerCrossing, you will get access to jobs from every corporate, government, public interest, and other job websites, but you have to create an account to do so.

Startups

1. AngelList

For product managers who are only interested in working at startups, AngelList is a good place to look. Candidates make a profile and then they can review positions at companies that are hiring. They basically “like” openings that they are interested in and sometimes add a message to the hiring manager. On the company-side, they also review candidates and “like” the ones that they are interested in. This is often a good place for product managers as you can get in early.

2. VentureLoop

VentureLoop is a leading job board focused on venture-backed companies. Their product management jobs are in a category with engineering positions, but their positions are typically pretty interesting for product managers. Plus, many of the job postings found on VentureLoop cannot be found on any other job board, so it is worth a look.

3. Hacker News

Product managers can do great at early stage startups because they have the opportunity to really make a difference in their product. If you are only interested in startups that have been part of Y Combinator, their job board is a good place to look.

4. Product Hunt

Product Hunt surfaces the best new products, every day. For product managers, and people who love product in general, this is a great place to go to find cool and exciting new apps, websites, projects, and more as well as really interesting jobs in the product space.

5. Crunchboard

For product managers looking to work at startups with some clout, companies that are a few years old, or teams that are growing quickly, TechCrunch’s job board, Crunchboard, is a good place to look. Their goal with the job board was to “build the ultimate web insider’s network.”

Remote jobs

1. We Work Remotely

If you are the sole product manager on your team or if you don’t mind reviewing and whiteboarding over video, checking out the jobs at We Work Remotely is a good place for you. They are the largest community online for remote jobs with over 2,500,000 monthly visitors.
